GE Cafe CDT805P2N2S1 - Replacement UI Control Unresponsive

GE Cafe Dishwasher Model CDT805P2N2S1.

I installed a new-in-box GE Appliances UI Control (p/n: WD21X28560) as a direct replacement for the original component (p/n: WD21X26002). The replacement control panel does not power on or respond to touch. I confirmed fitment of all harness connectors. The dishwasher has power. The WD21X28560 has no "personality" jumper block. The dishwasher works immediately when I swapped back in the original UI Control.

Hi, the WD21X28560 may need to be configured or programmed for your specific dishwasher before it will work correctly. GE uses personality settings on a lot of their newer control boards so the replacement board knows which model it’s installed in.

I wouldn’t try the Select Cycle/Start programming procedure unless we can confirm that’s the correct procedure for the CDT805P2N2S1. you should check the service information for this model and see exactly how GE says the replacement UI should be set up.
