  • Bradford White: No more hot water

    Posted By: bmwpower

Bradford White gas water heater. Model number: (see pict) M1TW50L6EN12 (?)

    Symptom: No hot water remaining.

Investigation: Checking the unit reveals that the pilot light is lit, but the burner is not lit. Power vent is running.

Temporary fix: Unplug/replug in the unit from power. After a couple of minutes the burner ignites without issues.

Frequency: This occurs every 1-2 months.

    Hi,

I moved this to plumbing as I don't repair water heaters. My own water heater did this at our house and it ended up being the hot surface ignitor as mine would work when I unplugged it and then plugged it back in but not on it's own.

    jeff.
