Ok, our washer is acting up at times. For some reason it does not stop spinning, and want shut off unless you unplug it. After unplugging it, and letting it sit for a day, it seems the timing resets, and the machine operates normally. This has happen two times in one year. Does the timer need to be replaced??

Hi all,

WJSR2070B2WW

A GE plastic tub washer.

Have seen the timer motor get extremely hot to the touch and the timer sticks.

Does the timer need to be replaced??

Thanks!! This was helpful info. I believe I will buy one when i get the money. That way I?ll have it on hand when it decides to act up.
